Jan Scheele (38) begon in 2015 met het experimenteren met Bitcoin, AI en blockchain technologie, vanuit zijn wereldwijde rol binnen de TED (als organisator van 50 TEDx events) destijds. Hij schrijft en spreekt regelmatig over verschillende technologieën, de bijzondere ontwikkelingen en vooral; hoe organisaties hier gelijk zelf mee aan de slag kunnen gaan.
Hij publiceerde 5 boeken, mocht inmiddels al meer dan 2 miljoen lezers verwelkomen op zijn blogs en werkte voor organisaties als de KNVB, Marktplaats, PGGM, TheNextWeb, Politie Nederland en NPM Capital.
Hij is bestuurslid van de Blockchain Netherlands Foundation (BCNL), wat alle Nederlandse blockchain en crypto startups en scaleups samenbrengt in het grootste ecosysteem daarvoor van de Benelux. Daarnaast was hij CEO van techscaleup Bitcanna, wat $18 miljoen ophaalde en inmiddels haar wereldwijde platform heeft gelanceerd. Momenteel is hij mede-oprichter van een startup in AI en een startup in crypto.

Jan Scheele (38) began experimenting with Bitcoin, AI, and blockchain technology in 2015, at a time when he was active globally within the TED community as the organizer of 50 TEDx events. He regularly writes and speaks about emerging technologies, the remarkable pace of their development, and, above all, how organizations can start applying them right away.
He has published five books, reached more than two million readers through his blogs, and worked with organizations such as the KNVB, Marktplaats, PGGM, The Next Web, the Dutch National Police, and NPM Capital.
He serves as a board member of the Blockchain Netherlands Foundation (BCNL), which brings together all Dutch blockchain and crypto startups and scale-ups within the largest ecosystem of its kind in the Benelux. He was previously CEO of tech scale-up Bitcanna, which raised $18 million and has since launched its global platform. Currently, he is co-founder of both an AI startup and a crypto startup.
In his spare time, he is active as a Digital Leader at the World Economic Forum.
